DESCRIPTION
Heartsaver CPR/AED gives individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive. This American Heart Association course certifies individuals in CPR/AED for adults, children and infants and is valid for two years.
CERTIFICATION
This course can be taken either in a traditional classroom setting, a blended learning setting (with some online coursework required before an in-person skill session), or an on-site location. The exact same 2-year certification is administered for each type of session.
First Aid CPR/AED classes

DESCRIPTION
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, o anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion certification, valid for two years.

pediatric First Aid CPR/AED classes

DESCRIPTION
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Including childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, etc. Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course trains participants on how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2020 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.
CERTIFICATION

BLS-BASIC LIFE SUPPORT

DESCRIPTION
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to train healthcare professionals in recognizing and responding to life-threatening emergencies. Nearly all Healthcare workers are required to have at least this BLS class. Skills include: Providing 1 and 2 rescuer CPR/AED for adults, children, and infants, using an Automated External Defibrillator, and relieving choking.
CERTIFICATION
This course can be taken either in a traditional classroom setting, a blended learning setting (with some online coursework required before an in-person skill session), or an on-site location. The same 2-year American Heart Association certification is administered for each type of session. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session conducted by an American Heart Association Training Center instructor. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session (sold separately), will receive a Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years.
Heartsaver CPR AED Course provides the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of CPR and how to use an AED. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community.

Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online offers the convenience of digital learning. The eLearning portion of the Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED blended learning course is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on skills session (sold separately) with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor.
The AHA’s Heartsaver Pediatric course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. Heartsaver courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.
The course is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, extended family, babysitters, and guardians.
This course offers the flexibility of two different course paths:

BLS HeartCode®
The HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station.
This product has been updated with new science from the 2020 Guidelines for CPR and ECC and replaces the previous version (15-3254). If you are a student, please confirm with your Training Center that this is the appropriate product for your training.
